Sadier is the lead singer of the band Stereolab.

A student journalist with the Minnesota Daily asked Sadier in a May 1996 interview if she was a Marxist. Sadier said in her reply, "...I'm not for ideologies and religions. You have to think for yourself. Things have to make sense in your head and have to correspond to a reality or a possibility. It's good to see what could happen rather than just be fatalistic."
