Q. You're coming to the hometown of Billy Graham. Do any modern religious figures strike a responsive chord with you?
I'm a big fan of Father Divine, the Reverend Ike, Daddy Grace. I'm not a fan of Jim Jones or Aimee McPherson, but I'm interested in them. I'm interested in all quacks. (But) Billy Graham's more middle-of-the-road and doesn't go out of his way to bait all the people I know.
I don't care if you're the most fanatic person in the world -- if it brings you happiness, fine. Just don't make me do it. I believe in the basic goodness of people -- no God we've heard of, no afterlife, but I'm not against people that (believe). And I feel at peace.
