Author/Philosopher
Hiram Crespo (born 1975) is the author of Tending the Epicurean Garden (Humanist Press, 2014) [1] and founder of http://www.SocietyofEpicurus.com. He is also a bilingual (Spanish-English) blogger and has been featured in The Humanist [2], The Secular Web [3], Humanist Life [4], Occupy.com [5], Ateistaspr.com [6], El Nuevo Día [7] and other outlets.
In his book, he calls for a full revival of the secular humanist philosophical tradition of Epicureanism, for using therapeutic philosophy instead of religion to nurture existential health, for a naturalist and scientific cosmology, and for a secular ethics that discerns between the holy versus the wholesome.
