Tom Metzger

White Racist Leader

Metzger, who found WAR (White Aryan Resistance) and is active on the radical/racial right is an atheist according to the book Soldiers of God: White Supremacists and Their Holy War for America by Howard L. Bushart, John R. Craig, and Myra Barnes.

Our contributor writes: "He was originally Christian Identity. I don't think his rejection of religion is based on science, rather it is based on a aesthetic rejection of Christianity as not suited for the white man.

"BTW, the interesting thing about Metzger is that unlike most anti-Christian racists, he's an atheist. Atheists are VERY rare on the racist Right...those who do not subscribe to Christian Identity are often Odinists or other pagan-occult religions. Metzger himself gives homage to Sun-worship."

At the end of an editorial on his resist.com website Metzger exclaims "Break out of your death cell White man! Your race and only your race, must be your religion."
