In an article in the New York Times (October 10, 1995) titled "India's 'Guru Busters' Debunk All That's Mystical" by John F. Burns, Ghosh's organisation is described as carrying out a campaign of exposing fraud amongst India's "godmen" (that is the multitude of gurus, swamis, and yogis of India) who often claim to possess paranormal powers.
