Ian Wilmut

Dr. Wilmut, an embryologist of the Roslin Institute in Edinburgh, Scotland, emerged into the limelight for pioneering the first successful cloning of a large mammal. This clone is now known to all as a healthy and otherwise normal sheep named Dolly.
