Alejandro Jodorowsky is a Chilean filmmaker, playwright, poet, author, comic book writer, composer, actor, polymath, and counterculture hero. In North America he is known primarily as the “Father of the Midnight Movie" for his surreal films, Santa Sangre, El Topo, and The Holy Mountain. In South America, he is better known for his books and experimental theater. In Europe, he is known primarily for his graphic novel collaborations with comic legend Moebius. [1]
